Q: Are you available at night?
A: We are available evenings and weekends! For calls after 11 or before 7, please feel free to leave a message. If we are awake, we will answer, Otherwise, if you leave a message we will return your call for emergency services as soon as someone is available. Please keep in mind that, since there are only 2 of us, it is impossible to cover 24/7. Sundays we spend with family, so we only provide limited emergency services.
Q: Do you offer any name brand products?
A: We prefer to use name brand name products whenever possible and stock the most commonly called for items. We use and stock products by Schlage, Kwikset, LSDA, Master, Von Duprin, Alarm Lock and many others. Since manufacturers can have thousands of products, it would be impossible to have everything from everyone. As we grow, so will our inventory. Just let us know what you are looking for and we can discuss the options.
Q: Do you have a physical store?
A: We are set up to provide mobile services. We can provide services wherever one of our trucks are, and that can include you dropping items or even your vehicle off at our Mt. Pleasant location for service. If you need to get a hold of us, please feel free to call, text or email!
Q: How can I make my home more secure?
A: That is a difficult question to address on a website. Every home is different. Some basic ideas include grade 1 deadbolts properly installed on solid entrance doors with a securely anchored frame. Properly installed means the strike is also anchored securely through the door frame and into the wall stud. Illuminate the areas around doors and windows wherever possible. Make sure window latches are securely anchored. Keep bushes and trees trimmed back to reduce places for prowlers to hide. Windows on the first and sometimes second floor should remain closed and secured when the home is unoccupied. Cameras can be intimidating to a thief, but they serve more afterwards to help identify a prowler. Resist advertising items in your home that would be desirable to a thief by not leaving boxes on the curb and garbage cans or by leaving curtains open at night. My favorite is adopt an alert dog with a deep bark.

Q: Are electronic and code locks safe and secure?
A: Safe is a relative term. There is a big difference between a $15 home center lock and even an entry level $65 commercial grade lock. Many times a cheap lock is just that, including electronic and code type locks. Also, anything that makes it easier for you to get in, makes it easer for a thief with the right equipment. However, if the electronic lock has decent encryption and security protocols, and they are set up properly, code and electronic locks can provide very good security.
